Servo press, also known as electronic press, is different from hydraulic press as follows:
1、 Driving method: Zhoumi numerical control electronic press is driven by servo motor to assemble high-density ball screw, and the pressure is directly converted from the torque output of servo motor; while general hydraulic press is driven by motor to drive oil pump, change direction through reversing valve, and then perform pressure operation by hydraulic cylinder, and the pressure passes through oil pipe and valve body, with certain loss.
2、 Energy saving and environmental protection: Zhoumi CNC electronic press adopts servo motor. In its standby state, the motor does not rotate, and in the process of pressing, the speed and power change. And the general hydraulic press, the motor has been running in the standby process, need to consume a certain amount of electricity, in the work is also constant speed rotation, power consumption will be higher. Compared with the general motor and servo motor, the noise will be larger.
3、 Precise control: careful numerical control electronic press, in a certain range, can arbitrarily set multi stroke speed, accurate displacement stop, accurate position stop, accurate pressure stop, etc. However, the general hydraulic press is affected by the tightness of pipeline, valve body and cylinder block, so it is impossible to operate with high precision, and many of them are realized by means of mechanical limit. If it is close to the precision of Electronic Press, the equipment cost will be much higher than that of electronic press, and the operation will be more complicated.
