What is the working principle of Dalian leak testing machine?
The working principle of Dalian leak testing machine is mainly to apply a certain pressure or vacuum to the tested object, and then detect whether there is gas or liquid leakage to determine whether its sealing is qualified. The following are the working principles of several common Dalian leak testing machines:
1、 Pressure based leak testing machine
Inject a certain pressure of gas, usually dry and clean compressed air, into the interior of the object being tested.
After the pressure stabilizes, close the inflation valve to maintain a specific pressure state inside the measured object.
Monitor the changes in internal pressure of the object being measured through pressure sensors. If there is a leak in the tested object, the internal pressure will gradually decrease.
Based on the rate and magnitude of pressure drop, the size of the leak can be determined. Generally speaking, the faster and larger the pressure drop, the more severe the leakage.
2、 Vacuum leak testing machine
Place the tested object in a sealed testing chamber, and then extract air from the chamber to create a certain degree of vacuum.
Maintain a vacuum state for a period of time and observe whether there is any gas entering the testing chamber from the outside of the object being tested.
If gas enters the testing chamber, it will cause a decrease in vacuum level. By detecting changes in vacuum degree through a vacuum sensor, it is possible to determine whether there is a leak in the object being tested.
Similar to the pressure method, the size of the leak is determined based on the rate and magnitude of vacuum degree decrease.

3、 Flow method leak testing machine
Fill the tested object with gas at a certain pressure and install a flow sensor in the inflation circuit.
Monitor the gas flow rate injected into the tested object. If the sealing of the tested object is good, the gas flow rate should be relatively stable.
If there is a leak in the tested object, a portion of the gas will flow out from the leak, resulting in an increase in the flow rate of the injected gas.
The presence and size of leaks can be determined by measuring flow changes through flow sensors.
4、 Differential pressure method leak testing machine
Connect the tested object to a differential pressure sensor simultaneously with a standard component (a leak free reference object).
Fill the tested object and standard component with gas of the same pressure.
Due to the difference in internal volume and sealing between the tested object and the standard component, a certain pressure difference will be generated. In an ideal situation, if the object being tested has no leakage, the pressure difference should remain stable.
If there is a leak in the tested object, the pressure difference will gradually change. By monitoring changes in differential pressure, the leakage situation of the measured object can be determined.
Different types of Dalian leak testing machines may use different detection methods and techniques, but overall they are based on the above principles to achieve the detection of the sealing of the tested object. In practical applications, the working principle of the leak testing machine is also affected by factors such as the material, shape, size, and detection environment of the tested object.
